Founder’s Journey
Snehal, inspired by his roots in a carpenter's family, developed a passion for transforming ideas into meaningful designs. Bhadri, drawn to art and craft from an early age, found her calling in design. Together, they bring their values into every project, balancing sensitivity with purpose. Their shared journey is deeply connected to the practice of Heartfulness meditation and the belief that “Designing is a spiritual journey.” For them, design goes beyond spatial articulation—it is a thoughtful process guided by design intent and contextual sensitivity, where each intervention is purposeful and responsive. Snehal holds a Master's in Sustainable Architecture, and Bhadri is an Interior Designer from APIED, Gujarat.
Manasvini Suthar, their daughter, has recently joined representing the next generation. She graduated from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Her academic journey includes an exchange program in Paris, international exposure through submissions to the World Architecture Festival, and collaborative work for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025. She has also undertaken a research-led internship opportunity with Puddle Architecture, Japan. Manasvini brings a global perspective rooted in local understanding. Her approach blends empathy contributing her own voice and vision while building upon the studio's evolving narrative.
tHE gRID Architects approach design as a layered process, embracing a philosophy of coexistence and collaboration, where tradition and innovation coalesce. Their designs prioritize environmental responsibility, utilizing local materials and passive strategies to create climate-responsive buildings that breathe and sustain themselves. By integrating futuristic research with traditional wisdom, they address global challenges, offering solutions rooted in sustainability, cultural context, and social responsibility. Their work rethinks conventional frameworks, extending the boundaries of traditional architecture to reflect diverse cultural narratives and local contexts. In an era of rapid urbanization, they advocate for a context-driven, human-centered approach that values humility, tradition, and site awareness, allowing the environment, history, and culture to guide each project. Through this, tHE gRID Architects inspires a more inclusive, responsive, and sustainable built environment.
